ASICS: Platinum Collection

(japanese sportswear brand)

situation

Japanese multinational corporation that produces footwear, apparel, and equipment for a wide range of sports. Asics is best known for its sneakers. The company's name is an acronym for the Latin phrase "Anima Sana in Corpore Sano," which translates to "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body," reflecting their philosophy of promoting well-being through sports and physical activity.

ASICS was launching their premium version of their legend and rising stars. They feature the same performance technologies with metallic details for a refined look. We were tasked to create a campaign visual that would enhance the concept of the shoes.

solution

Through the imagery of different shines of platinum material, the concept of a premium look is created. It is used through the background of the ads and photography to allow the shoes to stand out amongst other shoes in the market. We wanted the campaign visuals to have a texture with movement in it. Through this project, I helped with concepting, mock ups, and final photo editing.
